Quality Assurance Coordinator

to join our client's growing team based in Castledermot.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedQA Coordinator within the Food Industry to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes :

Developing, implementing and managing BRC and QMS

Ensuring compliance by continuously measuring quality processes and systems and ensuring readiness for external audits

Managing and coordinating testing required within the analytical laboratory

Measuring quality KPIs to measure and identify quality performance trends

Working with the production manager on production schedules and clean down schedules

Proactively identifying and closing out corrective actions to deal with quality issues

Experience you need :

Food Science Degree or equivalent in a related discipline

3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment is compulsory

Excellent working knowledge of quality systems, accreditations and analytical lab equipment, operation and validation

Strong knowledge of food quality and environmental standards

Experience in developing and implementing quality systems and procedures
