Qualified Accountant - Waterford

The Role This role is designed for someone with strong practice experience who is ready to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, lead meetings, present accounts, and become a key advisor to SMEs, partnerships, and sole traders. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a portfolio of SME clients across a variety of sectors Prepare and present financial statements in line with Irish accounting standards Lead client meetings, build strong relationships, and deliver clear financial insights Oversee tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, RCT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax Liaise with Revenue and handle client queries, audits, and filings Identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvement Mentor and support junior staff and help foster a collaborative team culture Contribute to strategic client management and business development initiatives Ideal Candidate Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) Minimum 3+ years of practice experience Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax and accounting compliance Proven ability to manage client relationships and present at senior level Comfortable in a leadership role and taking full ownership of a client portfolio Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage, Xero, or similar) Commercially aware, proactive, and confident in a client advisory setting Whats on Offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Career progression in a growing and dynamic firm Flexible hybrid working options Apply Now Skills : Accounts Tax Compliance Benefits : Bonus
