Job description: IT Operations Specialist 12mth FTC The IT Operations Specialist will work as part of the Dundalk IT team and collaborate with the global IT team support and execute WuXi Dundalk site IT operations. This role will be responsible for participating in service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned. The IT Operations Specialist will be key to the design and implementation of IT policies and protocols in line with corporate and legal policies and procedures. This role will also support service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned. In this role you will report to the IT Business Partner. This role is being offered as a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Your Responsibilities Provide IT site services following the service catalogue and service level agreements, including laptop imaging, Help Desk and Service Desk support. Collaborate with the global IT organization to maintain the IT Service in alignment with global & site-specific IT services. Provide all assigned IT Service Operations tasks assigned for the primary assigned site and any other assigned sites. Participate in local and global IT projects and coordinate roll-out of same on local site level. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents. Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the IT Business Partner. Will act as a role model for the IT function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture. Your Profile The ideal candidate for this position will have the following: Education A Bachelors Computer Science or similar degree. Technical Knowledge Desktop support incl. MS Office Suite MS Windows Server administration Network technologies / protocols and administration Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Office 365 Virtualization ITIL Foundation Certification preferred Knowledge/Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support and / or IT operations, ideally in regulatory manufacturing environment. Excellent project management and coordination skills. Experiences in collaboration within international teams. Personal skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to think critically and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-starter and self-motivated; organized with good attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust workloads based on changing priorities Results oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a short period of time.
