Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Support individuals in maintaining their health, wellbeing, and independence.
Assist individuals in accessing appropriate healthcare services and liaise with primary care teams such as GPs, Public Health Nurses, and hospital services.
Promote independence, choice, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals in care.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary respite care team.
Ensure all services are delivered in line with Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards and organisational values.
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) is essential.
A third-level qualification in Nursing is required.
Previous experience working in disability services or residential care settings is desirable.
A full, clean manual driving licence is essential.
Good knowledge and understanding of Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
