Site Engineer
Site Engineer Civil Engineering (Public Realm Project) A Site Engineer is required for a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major public realm project in Stamullen, Co. Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality public realm and civil engineering works. The successful candidate will have strong site-based experience within civil engineering or construction and will be confident managing day-to-day engineering duties, including setting out, surveying, quality control, and site coordination. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support daily site operations across the public realm project Carry out setting out duties using GPS and levelling equipment Verify site measurements, lines, and levels to ensure accuracy Undertake site surveys and produce as-built drawings using AutoCAD Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders Monitor progress on site and maintain accurate site diaries and records Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works meet quality standards Support the resolution of technical and construction-related issues on site Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme Assist with the coordination of public realm works including roads, footpaths, paving, drainage, kerbing, landscaping, and associated infrastructure Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (minimum Level 8 or equivalent) At least 5 years experience in a Site Engineer role within civil engineering or construction Previous experience on public realm, roads, infrastructure, or similar civil engineering projects Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site procedures, and health & safety regulations Proven experience with GPS equipment, levelling instruments, AutoCAD, and Procore Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team Must live within a commutable distance of Stamullen, Co.
