Internal Sales Support Executive Overview Were looking for an organised, customer-focused Internal Sales Support person to join an established team in a busy commercial environment. This role would suit someone who enjoys working directly with customers, coordinating orders, solving day-to-day queries and working closely with sales and operational teams to make sure everything runs smoothly. Youll be a key point of contact for customers and will play an important role in supporting both the internal and external sales functions. Responsibilities Responding to customer enquiries, requests and orders promptly and accurately. Preparing and processing sales orders and quotations using internal business systems. Managing a portfolio of allocated customers and maintaining strong working relationships. Keeping customers updated on orders, deliveries and any issues that may arise. Working closely with purchasing, accounts, stores and other internal teams to resolve customer queries. Coordinating with other locations where required to help meet customer stock and delivery requirements. Supporting the wider sales office with incoming enquiries, emails and online requests. Providing day-to-day support to the external sales team, including processing customer orders, enquiries and quotation requests. Assisting colleagues with general sales and customer-service activities during busy periods. Taking ownership of customer issues and following them through to resolution. Supporting additional responsibilities as the role and business develop. Key requirements Customer-focused and confident communicating with a wide range of people. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Confident using computers and business systems. Experienced in an internal sales, sales administration, customer service or similar role in a B2B environment Comfortable communicating by phone and email. Strong in written and spoken English. Previous experience within a trade, distribution, manufacturing or similar commercial environment would be beneficial.
