Job description

360 Search is representing a well-established independent brokerage in North Dublin, led by a director with over 30 years in the Irish market. The firm is small and selective. Its mortgage business comes principally through warm referrals from clients, accountants, solicitors and long-standing contacts. This is an early career role with real responsibility. You'd own mortgage cases from the first client conversation through to drawdown, advise clients directly, and learn the more complex cases alongside an experienced team. If you're qualified, sharp and keen to learn, you'll develop quickly here. The role Owning mortgage cases end to end, from first contact and fact find through to recommendation, packaging, submission and drawdown. Advising clients on mortgage credit from day one, with case discussion and guidance from the Brokerage Manager and director as normal practice, particularly on self-employed and more complex cases. Looking after referred clients who already trust the firm. There's no requirement to generate your own business and no sales target. Working across the firm's lender panel and liaising with underwriters, solicitors and valuers. Running the firm's day-to-day compliance administration, including Terms of Business, the consent register, AML due diligence and a rolling file audit programme. This is half the role. Overall ownership of compliance stays with the director. What you'll bring QFA, or APA in Loans, with CPD current. Candidates working towards the full QFA are welcome. Typically one to three years of hands-on mortgage experience, ideally in a brokerage, an intermediary or a high-volume mortgage processing operation. Experience with more than one lender's portals, criteria and queries. Strong written English, as much of the role is email to clients, lenders and solicitors. Confidence on the phone and good organisation on CRM. The right attitude: you take feedback well, ask when unsure and flag problems early. What's on offer €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience. A performance bonus based on completions, file quality and compliance, not sales. Hybrid working, with up to three days from home once established. Parking on site. Support to complete the full QFA, and mentoring from a director with 30 years in the market. A clear path to more complex cases and wider responsibility. This is a Controlled Function role, so fitness and probity checks apply. For a confidential conversation, contact Conor Scully at 360 Search. Benefits: Work From Home
