Project Manager

Our client, requires a Project Managerto manage a commercial building project in Mallow, Co. Cork. 'The project involves an existing 1970-72 built warehouse that we purchased to relocate our stores and offices into for expansion. The overall footprint is 22,000 sq feet on approx 2.5 acres. Within the 22,000 sq feet there is currently Approx 3,000 sq feet of existing offices which need to be refurbished and another 7,000 sq feet need to be constructed within the envelop of the building. There is a new roof going on and the entire lower area is being converted to a carpark. Responsibilities: Implement the Safety Management System on site Implement the Quality Management System on site Working to an agreed programme and planning future works to avoid delays Requisitioning materials required on site in time and to the correct specification Attend various meetings to ensure the efficient communication of all issues that affect day to day running of the site Organising daily whiteboard meetings Management of all day to day onsite activity The successful candidate will have: Site Management or Project Management experience on construction projects in Ireland or the UK Experience managing projects from start to completion Experience working in general contracting The right to work in the EU Please apply with your CV below or contact Bobby on If this position isn't for you but you would like to discuss our other vacancies then feel free to get in touch or to suggest a colleague for the position as we have an attractive referral policy.
