Job descriptionConducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on filleting lines, conveyors, freezing and transfer systems. Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults and minimising production downtime through rapid response to breakdowns. Monitoring and maintaining refrigeration, compressed air, water, and wastewater treatment systems and servicing wastewater treatment plant. Carrying out general site maintenance : lighting, plumbing, doors, drainage, and building fabric. Participating in an on-call rota to respond to urgent breakdowns outside normal working hours. Providing weekend support for upgrades, projects, and maintenance tasks that cannot be completed during production runs. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and spare parts usage logs. Recognized qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering. 2–3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or food processing environment. Knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operation and compliance requirements (advantage). Strong understanding of refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
