Finance Manager

Finance Manager We are partnering exclusively with a leading Construction Services firm to recruit a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function. This is both a hands-on commercially focused role offering the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and operational leadership team, providing financial insight that directly influences business and project performance. You will have significant autonomy across financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, project profitability, taxation and financial controls, while also driving improvements across finance systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Lead the full finance function and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, reporting and KPIs. Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting and forecasting, providing clear financial insight to senior management. Partner with project and operational teams to monitor project costs, margins, profitability and commercial performance. Oversee tax, payroll, statutory compliance, audit and financial controls. Drive improvements across finance systems, processes, reporting and automation. Provide commercial analysis and challenge to support business growth and profitability. Key Skills Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA). Proven experience managing a full finance function. Strong management accounting, financial reporting and commercial analysis skills. Experience within an SME is desirable Advanced Excel and financial systems experience. Commercially minded, proactive and confident communicating with senior stakeholders. What's on Offer?
