Overview

Electrical Specialist role at CommScope in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.

Join the Maintenance Team and contribute to installation and support of electrical systems and equipment at our Bray location.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test, maintain, repair, and replace electrical components using hand and power tools.

Diagnose malfunctions, test electrical systems for correct operation, and inspect equipment for hazards or defects; advise management on equipment operation.

Plan and perform installations while adhering to codes, prepare sketches, and update drawings for accurate records.

Pull wires through conduits, construct parts, and dismantle / assemble equipment with precision.

Maintain detailed records of breakdowns and repairs; collaborate with maintenance fitters and contribute to equipment modifications; may work with external contractors when needed.

Qualifications

Fully qualified Electrician in Ireland

Electrical proficiency, able to diagnose problems and read electrical drawings

Knowledge of mechanical containment installations (e.g., conduit, cable ladder, trunking)

Ability to work from heights (ladders, MEWP)
