About the Company :

A successful Manufacturing company based in County Wexford are currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer who has a good knowledge and experience within the industry.

This is a great opportunity to join the companies growing engineering team and further develop your knowledge and skills within manufacturing.

Duties Include :

To develop and maintain mechanical design drawings using CAD Software packages.

Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions.

Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager.

Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives

To complete all relevant documentation to the highest of standards and ensure it is accurate.

Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively.

Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process.

Skills and Experience Required :

3+ years' experience or Degree Equivalent in Manufacturing Design Engineering.

A good understanding of core concepts from, hydraulics and mechanical systems.

Understanding and knowledge of 3D CAD and Solidworks.

Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal communication.

Proficient in MS Office.

Ability to work in a team environment.
