Senior Recruitment Consultant at European / USA Tech Recruit - Specialist in Semiconductor Engineering across Europe, US and Asia Location : Dublin or Cork, Ireland Hybrid Work Model : 2 Days Onsite Per Week A major semiconductor company is looking for a highly experienced Digital Design Engineer to join its innovative design team in Ireland.

Based at either the Dublin or Cork site, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technologies in the area of capacitive and touch sensing, as well as mixed-signal IP development.

Role Overview : In this position, you will be instrumental in the development of advanced digital components, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to shape next-generation sensing solutions.

Your responsibilities will include :

Translating system-level requirements into robust digital design specifications Crafting and refining microarchitectures for high-performance IP blocks Implementing RTL and low-power designs (UPF) Using industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, linting, static timing analysis (STA), CDC / RDC / MVRC checks Key Qualifications : 6 to 15 years of hands-on experience in digital design, ideally within a semiconductor or high-tech environment Proven proficiency in RTL design , preferably with Verilog or SystemVerilog Strong background in DSP architecture and design Preferred Skills : Exposure to sensing technologies (capacitive, touch, etc.)
