Opportunity for Health and Safety Officer to support and advise on risk and assurance matters through regular site visits, audits and monitoring progress in accordance with site improvement plans. This role will develop strong working relationships with operational teams to identify improvements and practical solutions, while working closely with the wider QHSE team to support operations and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators and customers. Successful candidate will provide practical support onsite working within an environment management to ISO . The role is designed to drive compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety. Responsibilities : ? Support the Project Management Team with the day-to-day safety activities on site ? Conduct regular formal site audits & inspection as directed in the Safety Management system ? Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all employees or contractors ? Ensure sub-contractor safety documents are produced and available on site and up to date ? Advise the Site / Project Management team for high risk activities ? Assist in incident / accident investigation reporting and filing ? Manage the Toolbox Schedule for the project ? Advise site management on training requirements for each project Systems Auditing / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 9001. Legislation Ensure all personnel understand their responsibilities. Review new legislation and assess compliance and actions arising. Essential Requirements for the role : Level 7 / Level 8 Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or Engineering with additional training / experience in Occupational Health and Safety Management. Good computer skills using Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems. The Person : Organized individual with attention to detail.
