Tax Technician

GPC Finance is working on a new opportunity within a Medium size firm in Dublin.

My client requires an experienced Tax Technician to join their Tax Team.

This role is suitable for someone who is self-motivated, with excellent organisational and technical skills who can execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities :

Assisting with the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.

Processing of payroll returns.

Processing of VAT returns.

General tax administration tasks.

Delivering work to strict deadlines and dealing with day-to-day queries and requests.

Working closely with clients to ensure a high service level.

Experience & Qualifications :

Tax and / or Accounting Technician Qualification.

IPASS Qualification (desirable).

1-3 years' experience working in a busy tax or accounting environment.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Experience of Tax, Accounting, Payroll software.

Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable numerical / analytical skills.

Strong technical and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative.

Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
