Job Title : Finance Manager - Business Partner Projects Job Description : Our client is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to support their organisation-wide projects, particularly focusing on financial management, compliance, and strategic financial alignment across various teams. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Job Responsibilities Collaborate with project management teams to monitor and control budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Conduct financial analysis and reporting for major projects, including expenditure tracking, cost forecasting, and identification of potential budget overruns. Implement financial management processes aligned with industry standards and best practices. Regularly assess financial performance to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and value-for-money principles. Provide advisory support on financial processes, budget management, and compliance requirements to project stakeholders. Develop and maintain project business cases and charters, ensuring alignment with internal governance frameworks. Identify and communicate upcoming and ongoing projects to ensure finance teams are integrated into planning and delivery. Produce detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders. Oversee procurement compliance with national and EU guidelines and ensure risk management processes are embedded in projects. Support external audits and regulatory reviews with accurate financial data and reports. Experience Required A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or project finance roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership position. Strong understanding of public sector finance frameworks, including compliance with governance standards and value-for-money principles. Proven experience managing project budgets within complex organisations. Desirable Skills Experience supporting PMOs or working on large-scale infrastructure or capital projects. Familiarity with EU funding requirements and compliance standards. Proficiency with financial tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Keyedin, and Excel. Advanced financial modelling and forecasting expertise. Educational Requirements A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
