About the Role :
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our GP practice as a Practice Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice and supporting the team to deliver excellent patient care.
Position : GP Practice Administrator
Location : North Dublin / Louth
Contract : 20 hrs per week
Salary : Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records, managing schedules, and handling medical correspondence
- Handle GMS list administration and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with practice policies, GDPR regulations, and healthcare standards
- Act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
- Maintain stock levels and order supplies as required
- Assist with medical reports, prescriptions, and other administrative duties
- Act as liaison for the GP across a number of nursing home locations where care is provided
