Role Overview : As the Weddings & Events Manager, you will be the primary contact for clients planning their special day. Your role will involve discussing wedding logistics, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring the seamless execution of weddings. Working closely with the Deputy General Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing, you'll be at the heart of making dreams a reality. Main Duties : Drive Wedding Business : Boost wedding bookings and grow the number of weddings in line with the hotel's business plan. Marketing Initiatives : Implement quarterly Sales & Marketing initiatives to increase wedding enquiries. Manage Online Presence : Oversee 3rd Party Wedding websites and enhance our online visibility. Maximise Revenue : Manage the function diary to optimise revenue. Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with guests and clients. Diary Management : Oversee the Wedding & Events diary and ensure accurate function sheets / BEOs. Client Journey : Guide future Brides & Grooms from enquiry to contract, ensuring a flawless experience. Maintain Records : Keep client files updated in line with hotel guidelines. Follow-Up : Conduct weekly follow-up calls for feedback from past clients. Social Media : Manage social media channels for weddings and create engaging live videos. Reporting : Compile and update wedding pace and business reports. Billing Accuracy : Ensure accurate billing procedures for the PM account. Coordinate Meetings : Co-chair weekly Function Sheet Meetings with the Sales & Events Executive. Showrounds : Conduct virtual and face-to-face Wedding Showrounds. Action Plans : Implement and review monthly action plans in line with the hotel's budget. Upsell Opportunities : Maximise revenue by upselling weddings and events. Event Participation : Attend and manage Wedding Open Days and Fairs. Host Events : Organise Hotel Wedding Open Days, Showcase Evenings, and Wedding Fairs. Additional Duties : Support the sales team with additional tasks as needed. Who You Are : Qualified : Relevant Sales Qualifications. Experienced : Minimum of 3 years in a similar role. Outgoing : Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Hospitality Background : Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus. Detail-Oriented : Proven ability to meet deadlines and targets with exceptional attention to detail. Mobile : Full driving licence and own transport.
