About the Role

AA Euro Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a long-term contract with a leading main contractor in Limerick.

The role involves supporting the delivery of a major civil project, working alongside a highly skilled project team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor with significant project pipelines in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of civil works on site.

Ensure works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and building regulations.

Conduct site surveys, setting out, and quality checks.

Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and maintain accurate records.

Collaborate with the project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Monitor costs, materials, and resources effectively.

Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues on site.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years experience in civil engineering with a main contractor (Irish / UK experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of setting out, site management, and civil works processes.

Proficiency in surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station).

Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Full driving licence.

Contract Details

Duration : 6+ months remaining on current project (with possibility of extension).

Contract Type : Hourly paid contract position.

Location : Limerick, Ireland.
