Senior Test Automation Engineer

Senior Test Automation Engineer We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a growing technology team in Dublin.

This role offers the opportunity to shape automation practices, mentor engineers, and drive innovation including AI-driven testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities Lead best-practice test automation principles as a subject matter expert.

Build, expand, and maintain automation frameworks for APIs, microservices, and web applications.

Drive adoption of AI-based automation techniques.

Mentor and support automation engineers across teams.

Investigate test failures, troubleshoot, and improve frameworks.

Integrate with dashboards and CI / CD pipelines for clear test visibility.

Essential Skills 7+ years' test automation experience.

Strong background in API and web automation.

Hands-on with tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Rest Assured, Rest Sharp, Soap UI, JMeter, or Load Runner.

Skilled in at least one programming / scripting language (C#,.

NET, Python, C++).

Experience with continuous testing and CI / CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.

Desirable Skills AI in automation.

Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).

Test management tools (e.g.

Test Rail) and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).

Performance testing and UI automation frameworks.

Networking, mobile, or Angular testing knowledge.
