Fitness Instructor

Reports To Gym Manager Position Summary UCD Campus Sport and Leisure Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Fitness Instructor to work in the UCD Sport & Fitness Centre in UCD. The ideal candidate shall be enthusiastic and enjoy working within a team environment, but have the initiative to work alone. Please note that this is a role which will include shift and weekend work as well as teaching high level fitness classes. Experience in Personal Training is desirable. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Clientcare Teaching a variety of fitnessclassesincluding Les Mills Gym instruction and client assessment Building good client relations Gym care(cleaning) Selection Criteria Mandatory Fitness trainer Qualification The ability to learn and teach fitness classes Indoor Cycling, Kettle bells, Body conditioning, Body balance,Pilates. Confident and professional in delivering high quality fitnessclasses. Confident and professional in dealing with queries from members and staff in person, on the phone and byemail. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills Desirable Proven ability to design, deliver fitnessclasses Qualified in any/all Les Mills programmes Qualified as a PilatesorYoga Instructor Previous experience in the leisureindustry Proven results delivering Personal Training Closing date of Feb 13th Skills: Fitness Instructor Qualified fitness instructor excellent communication skills
