Finance Manager

Your new company We're working with a rapidly growing business in the engineering and construction space, known for its strong team culture and consistent year-on-year expansion. With a turnover of €40 million across multiple entities, this company offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for finance professionals. Your new role This is a hands-on Finance Manager role covering maternity leave for 12 months, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. You'll be stepping into a well-established position within a close-knit finance team, supporting both operational and strategic finance across the group. Key Responsibilities Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across multiple entities Ensure accurate completion of : Balance sheet reconciliations Transaction posting checks and corrections Prepayments, accruals, and intercompany charges Intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation Manage and support the finance team in their day-to-day activities Oversee the group procurement function Partner with senior leadership to set and monitor annual budgets Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process Contribute to continuous improvement projects What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience Minimum 5 years' strong accounting experience Background in construction, engineering, or related industries preferred Solid understanding of inventory and stock movement Practice-trained, or strong industry experience Personable, collaborative, and ready to roll up their sleeves Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What you'll get in return Salary €70,000 - €80,000 DOE 12-month contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent Office-based, highly collaborative environment Flexible hours : 9am-5pm standard, with options to adjust around lunch Informal, hardworking, and team-oriented culture Free on-site parking What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
