Part-Qualified Accountant My client are seeking a motivated and ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who wants to progress their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, gaining hands-on experience across general ledger accounting, management accounts, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. The role offers strong exposure to both technical finance and commercial aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review monthly management accounts and journal entries. Support with revenue recognition, accruals, and balance sheet control. Manage debtor reconciliations, sales and purchase ledgers, and financial reporting. Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors. Provide insights through financial analysis and recommend process improvements. Support ad hoc finance projects and cross-functional initiatives. Collaborate with wider teams to ensure alignment of processes. About You : Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). 2-3 years' experience in industry or practice. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience an advantage). Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced finance team. Key Skills & Competencies : Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
