You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and troubleshooting sophisticated electrical and mechanical systems that power our global cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will directly contribute to keeping critical technology running smoothly, ensuring uninterrupted service for millions of customers worldwide. A Day in the Life Your day will be dynamic and hands-on, involving equipment inspections, system diagnostics, and proactive maintenance. You'll move between technical assessments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex operational challenges that require both technical knowledge and creative problem-solving. Key job responsibilities Conduct comprehensive operational assessments of electrical and mechanical equipment Perform routine system diagnostics and maintenance across various technical systems Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues within established service agreements Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external service providers Champion safety protocols and contribute to a robust safety culture BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Professional Electrical or Mechanical Certification (National Craft Certificate, Registered Electrical Contractor, or equivalent) Comprehensive understanding of electrical safety practices Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment maintenance principles PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications - Knowledge of BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection / trending About the team Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences.
