Grade VII Financial Accountant- Kilkenny onsite

My client within the HSE have an immediate requirement for a Grade VII Financial Accountant based in Kilkenny on an initial 9 month contract. This role will be onsite with some flexibility following training. Key tasks will include :

• Annual Financial Statements Process (Dec Year End)
• Audit C&AG
• Project experience would be an advantage / SAP 4Hana systems experience
• Data analysis / Data cleansing in relation to transition to new Finance / Procurement system
• Month End Process
• Journal preparation
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Patient Income reconciliation
• Reconciliation of weekly / monthly files Vendor payments / Payroll payment files
• Balancing of Bank to Ledger
• Bank payment authorisations
• Other Analytical work (eg. Aged Analysis / Reconciliation of various Reports to GL)
• Procurement Cards programme management (Staff credit cards)
• Cash-flow requirements (weekly requirements sent a week in advance) to HSE Corporate treasury The ideal candidate will be :
• Ideally Qualified Accountant or Part Qualified ( ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
