Civil & Structural Engineer

Orange Recruitment is seeking a driven and technically proficient CSA Engineer to join our clients high-impact data centre project in Dublin.

In this role, you will lead quality assurance and construction oversight for civil, structural, and architectural works, ensuring that every stage of build-through to handover adheres to the highest standards.

Working with a talented team, you will help ensure that project delivery consistently meets client expectations, design specifications, and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities : Oversee and verify contractor workmanship to guarantee that all civil, structural and architectural works align with approved drawings, specifications, and benchmarks.

Collaborate closely with QA / Quality Management team to ensure timely, correct documentation from contractors; monitor progress and hold regular status meetings.

Attend and contribute actively in site meetings, engineering reviews, planning & co-ordination sessions, internal project reviews, and handover meetings.

Conduct drawing reviews with the design team; resolve design issues accurately and promptly to avoid delays.

Monitor contractor installs, perform snagging inspections, track defect close-outs via approved systems, and ensure follow-up so that there are minimal defects at handover.

Maintain rigorous site documentation, submittals, RFIs, reports and assist in managing constructive feedback and QC processes.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Essential.

Minimum 3 years' experience on large-scale construction projects.

Data centre experience is a strong plus.

Strong initiative : ability to work independently, spot issues early, suggest solutions, follow through.

Excellent stakeholder communication skills : working with contractors, design teams, and internal quality / project management.

Deep attention to detail and commitment to quality : you take pride in ensuring zero defects and delivering exceptional finish.
