Physiotherapist-Part Time

• Following initial baseline assessments provide ongoing one-to-one physiotherapy sessions to residents.
  

• Use standardised validated outcome measures to reassess monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as required.
  

• Maintain accurate up-to-date clinical documentation for all residents and clients.
  

• Work closely with nursing staff to integrate physiotherapy interventions into individualised care plans.
  

• Plan and deliver group exercise and fitness classes twice weekly.
  

• Actively participate in regular multidisciplinary Falls Meetings and complete all associated documentation.
  

• Deliver care to a predominantly mobile and active older population as well as geriatric residents with varying physical and cognitive conditions including stroke multiple sclerosis Parkinsons disease Alzheimers disease and related dementias
  

Requirements

• Candidates must be registered with CORU.
  

• Hold a valid visa work permit or permission to work in Ireland.
  

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (preferred)
  

• Carry out comprehensive assessments develop individualised treatment plans and deliver effective physiotherapy interventions to all referred residents.
  

• Ensure residents privacy dignity and confidentiality are respected at all times.
  

• Liaise effectively with residents families/carers and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support a holistic approach to care.
  

• Maintain clear and effective communication with all members of the care team.
  

• Keep accurate up-to-date clinical records in line with legal professional and data collection requirements.
  

• Attend team meetings and other service-related meetings as required.
  

• In the interest of COVID-19 safety candidates must not be employed in other healthcare facilities.
