Financial Accountant

The Employer is an established software developer / provider ('SaaS') headquartered in Limerick City - note hybrid working (2 to 3 days per week working from home) available Breakdown of Areas of Responsibility : A. Financial Reporting and Analysis, timely and accurate - Assist CFO in following activities : Preparation of Monthly Management Accountants finalised / issued to Senior Management Team by Workday 12. Analysis of key trends and KPIs within business. Preparation of Annual financial statements and supporting documentation required for Audit. Preparation of budgets and forecasts. Financial Reports and analysis on specific areas requiring attention B. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Responsible for weekly Accounts Payable payment cycle. Oversight of Accounts Receivable and ensuring timely collection of amounts owing. C. Banking / Working capital management WC / cashflow management on a daily basis through effective reporting systems and active participation in the business. Review of bank / credit card reconciliations prepared by financial administrator. D. Audit, Tax and General Compliance Year end Audit and Audit Liaison Preparation and Overview of Tax Returns and Compliance. Ie VAT and PAYE. E. Review existing processes and controls across the business Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Payroll Banking Others as required Knowledge. Skills, Experience required Qualified Accountant with up to 2+ years post qualified experience ideally within a Financial Accountant role. Experience in Software as a Service (SAAS) environment highly desirable but not a necessity Has experience in preparing month end management accounts. Strong IT skills, ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc. Experience in Business Central ERP system and Power BI would be desirable. Self-motivated, ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask Experience of working in an accounting function with challenging month end reporting deadlines.
