Finance Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded accountant to join a rapidly growing business in a key Finance Business Partner role on a fixed term contract for an initial 6 months.

You will work closely with both the Finance Director and Facilities Director, providing high-quality financial insight, analysis, and support to drive profitable growth across the Facilities Management (FM) division. This is a fast-paced, hands-on commercial finance position offering broad exposure across all areas of the finance function from tender pricing to performance reporting and systems development.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to operational and commercial teams, helping to improve financial performance and strategic decision-making.
• Commercial Finance & Reporting
• Partner with the Facilities Director and contract managers to review monthly performance, providing clear analysis of contract profitability, cost trends, and operational KPIs.
• Lead month-end gross margin reporting for the FM division, investigating anomalies and explaining results to key stakeholders.
• Support the production of Board packs and group reporting, ensuring accurate, timely financial information for senior management.
• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term plans in collaboration with operations and finance colleagues.
• Provide financial input and challenge on new tenders, pricing models, and contract renewals to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
• Conduct post-project reviews and margin analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist with financial reviews as required.
• Systems & Process Development
• Support the Finance and IT teams on the implementation of the new ERP system (go-live planned for 2026), including testing, training, data validation, and report development.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial processes, reporting quality, and data integrity.
