Hours : Monday-Friday 09 : 00 17 : 00 Forklift Driver / Warehouse Assistant Nationally recognised supplier is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse assistant. This position offers an immediate start for the right candidate with Monday to Friday daytime shifts with weekly pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Irelands leading companies within their sector and become a key part of a busy warehouse team. You will be responsible for operating both counterbalance and pivot steer (Bendi) forklifts. Your duties will include picking products from high-level locations using the Bendi forklift, as well as loading and unloading deliveries with the Counterbalance forklift. You will also support the goods in department by receiving stock, ensuring all incoming deliveries are accurately checked and properly recorded. In addition to these tasks, the role will involve participating in general warehouse duties to help maintain smooth and efficient operations throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities will include you to perform routine checks to ensure all forklifts are maintained correctly and reporting any faults to management. The role requires someone dependable and efficient, with the ability to follow company policies and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Responsibilities : Operate counterbalance forklifts to safely load and unload goods from vehicles and designated areas. Use Pivot Steer (Bendi) forklifts to pick customer orders and replenish stock from high-level racking. Accurately manage stock movements using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as required. Support the goods in department by receiving deliveries, checking stock, and ensuring all quantities are accurately recorded. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment by following company housekeeping procedures and standards. Participate in general warehouse operations, including stock takes, cycle counts, and order consolidation. Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled, securely packaged, and meet shipping requirements. Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to management promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Requirements : Valid and in-date counterbalance forklift license essential. Current Pivot Steer (Bendi) forklift licence required. Manual handling certification is preferred, though not essential. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Must be available to work Monday to Friday. Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
