Job description

We are looking for a dynamic evening  Part-Time Evening Facilities Operative  to join us to support our daily projects.

This role is based on 18 hours per week

Working pattern : Tuesday to Friday from 14 : 45 to 21 : 15 ( depending on the event)

Location : Dublin 4

  • IMMEDIATE START

This role requires a hands-on individual with strong facilities and caretaking experience, capable of supporting evening operations including light maintenance, room setups for events, general building upkeep, and acting as a point of contact for on-site queries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities and duties :

  • Respond and action planned reactive building repairs and respond to queries from staff and visitors.
  • Supporting events, meeting room arrangements and removal of discarded materials.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained.
  • Be a able to monitor and escalate issues that may arise with mechanical and electrical services (fire alarm, plumbing, HVAC systems)
  • DIY Skills
  • Office and churn management, relocation of furniture as well as meeting and event room set ups.
  • Taking ownership and be accountable for all aspects of above stated role ensuring tasks delivery is within timeframe, high quality and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in delivery of facilities services requested by the client
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise including Fire alarms.
  • Meets and greets visitors at reception and direct them accordingly.
  • Point of contact for client related queries, directs to relevant person for attention
  • Be ready to undertake any other task and project assigned to you
  • Requirements :

  • Front of House Reception experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and effectively work to deadlines.
  • Personal presentation must be of a high standard.
