Commercial Manager

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor for a Commercial Manager to join a on major data centre projects in Dublin and across Europe.

This is a high-impact role with full commercial responsibility across procurement, cost control, and financial performance.

You'll be leading a strong commercial team and working closely with project stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence.

The role is based in Dublin head office.

Key Responsibilities

Lead procurement activities to meet project timelines and budget targets

Implement and maintain robust cost management practices

Produce accurate commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders

Collaborate across teams from pre-construction through delivery

Build and maintain strong client and supply chain relationships

Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities

Oversee subcontractor onboarding and ensure contract compliance

Support timely billing and cash collection in line with contract terms

Promote efficient, contractually compliant practices across the supply chain

Candidate Profile

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

Proven experience with a Main Contractor

Strong commercial, contractual, and financial acumen

Experience with MEP and data centre projects (preferred)

Familiarity with various procurement models (lump sum, remeasure, design-build)

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
