Project Manager – Packaging (Medical Device)Location : Dublin, IrelandType : Long-term ContractWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with packaging expertise to join our client, a leading medical device company in Dublin. This is a long-term contract role, ideal for a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in managing packaging-related projects within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership : Lead and manage end-to-end packaging projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards.Packaging Development : Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of packaging solutions for medical devices.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all packaging solutions meet relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 11607, FDA standards).Risk Management : Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions proactively.Budget and Timeline Management : Track project budgets, maintain schedules, and deliver milestones on time and within scope.Vendor Management : Liaise with external suppliers and vendors to source and manage packaging materials and services.Continuous Improvement : Drive innovation and process improvements in packaging methodologies and materials.RequirementsExperience : Minimum 5 years of project management experience in packaging, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design processes, and validation protocols.Education : Bachelor’s degree in engineering, packaging science, project management, or a related field.
