The successful candidate will work as a member of the Paediatric team providing services to children and adolescents with mild to moderate developmental needs. Benefits : Excellent company Pension Health Insurance Death in service Income Protection Role Purpose Carry an assessment, therapy, and consultation caseload to support children and adolescents with mild to moderate needs. Formulate and implement therapeutic intervention plans for young people and their families based on various conceptual frameworks and evidence-based literature in line with scope of service. Maintain all documentation in accordance with department and professional standards. Carry out individual and group-based interventions for young people and their families. Ensure quality and accountability by using best practice processes that measure therapeutic effectiveness and secure meaningful service user feedback as part of audit and quality improvement within the service. Education & Experience Hold a post-graduate professional qualification in either clinical or counselling psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland and / or validated by the Department of Health and Children in Clinical Psychology; Be eligible for Staff Grade position and have experience working in child and family services in addition to time spent in postgraduate professional training. Possess the requisite knowledge and ability to carry out the required jobs of the post.
