Know how to use point-of-care analyzers and interfaces, as well as biochemistry tests. Has expertise in implementing and validating novel analytical tools and techniques. Be knowledgeable with the electronic information systems that are now in use and those that are being developed, and be adept at using them in the lab. Responsibilities
- The Senior Medical Scientist position is specifically in charge of overseeing the laboratory's Biochemistry / POCT department.
- As decided by the Laboratory Management Team, carry out normal, specialized, and research / development tasks to the highest professional standards.
- possess practical understanding of and familiarity with ISO15189 : 2022 accreditation criteria, exhibiting an emphasis on high-quality patient-centered services.
- drafting, updating, and maintaining the policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for the laboratory.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to introduce new concepts, techniques, tools, and processes that are judged necessary.
- Assure data accuracy and advance patient safety.
