Lab technician

Staffline Recruitment is now hiring a Lab Technician for a leading food production company based in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join a well-established organisation in the food manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities : Carry out routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Ensure all samples are collected, labelled, and recorded accurately. Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety within the laboratory environment. Support production and quality teams by providing accurate and timely test results. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. Record and report all results in line with traceability and compliance requirements. Assist with audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement projects as required. Requirements : A qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Previous laboratory experience in a food or manufacturing environment is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent record-keeping and communication skills. Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
