Catering Assistants Fermoy Cork

The School Food Company has been in operation since 2011 and provides healthy lunch options for both Primary and Secondary school students. Our menu is prepared fresh onsite every day.

We are currently recruiting for full time and part time catering assistants in our schools Fermoy. Co. Cork .

Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods : midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is also subject to Garda Vetting.

The position of  full time Catering Assistant   is approx 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Shift time approx 8.00am -2.00pm. Half day Wednesday approx 11.45am / 1.00pm finish. Ability to start at 7.15am an advantage.

The position of  part time Catering Assistant   is approx 9 -15 hours per week, operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.

Shift time approx 8.00am / 9.00am -2.00pm. Half day Wednesday approx 11.45am / 1pm finish.

The roles involve the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break, lunch and clean down. It is a very fast paced and busy working environment.

Previous catering experience, knowledge of HACCP an advantage.
