Trainee Accountant – Cork

I am currently working with a medium sized Chartered Accountants firm in Cork.

Due to continuous expansion, they require a

Trainee Accountant

who wants to pursue a career within a professional body.

You will gain exposure to various industries and a variety of clients within a professional practice and will establish yourself as an expert within the industry.

On top of that, you will work very closely with management and partners and will be trained to a very high standard.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping, Preparation of Vat returns

Preparation of Sole Traders financial statements

Preparation of Income Tax Returns and of relevant Contracts Tax returns

Preparation of Management Accounts

Preparation of Audit exempt financial statements & assisting on Audit Assignments

Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns

Preparation of Company Secretarial Returns

Ad hoc accounting and administrative work as required

Ideal Candidate

Degree qualified within Accountancy, Commerce or a relevant field as a minimum.

Exam Focused – Willing to do Professional Accountancy exams.

Ability to work to tight deadlines

Team Worker & Career Driven

Strong IT Skills essential
