QC Analyst

Job Description : A QC Analyst with 1+ years of experience in a laboratory in the food and beverage industry is required to join a diverse global food and beverage team in Cork. Applicants only need apply if : -Already located in Cork. -One year experience in a food or beverage laboratory. Duties include : Follow the Quality & Food Safety Management System Policy and meet the requirements of the organisation's Integrated Management System. Cooperate with internal and external auditors. Make recommendations for continual improvement and support improvement initiatives the company undertakes. Quality control testing with incoming goods, in process and finished products. Calibration of instruments. Preparation of certs of analysis for customers. Distribution, maintaining and updating of Material Safety Data sheets and updating of specifications. Provide back up to the Process Chemist in creating item codes and BOM's. Assisting in measurement and analysis of key process indicators and in daily quality assurance matters. ISO internal quality auditing. Work on quality aspects of new products and projects. Quality checking of outgoing goods. Assisting in ensuring awareness within the company of quality issues and promotion of quality management system. Qualifications & Experience : 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience. BSc in a scientific discipline. Strong analytical ability and associated problem solving. Skills : QC food science beverage science laboratory
