GPC Finance are delighted to partner with a leading Accounting Firm in Cork City.

Our client is looking for a

Qualified Accountant

to join their growing team.

This position offers an opportunity for career development in Practice or alternatively for a future Financial Controller position in Industry.

Responsibilities :

Preparation of Financial Statements for Sole Trader and Audit Exempt Companies.

Completing and filing of tax returns and ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.

Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and compiling reports of monthly financial results.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients through direct contact.

Providing advice to clients on tax planning and efficiencies.

Assisting with ad-hoc projects, as required, to support existing services and processes.

Requirements :

Min 2-3 years PQE Practice Experience.

Qualified Accountant ACA / ACCA or equivalent.

Previous experience working in an Irish practice.

Strong attention to detail.

A good working knowledge of Accounting Standards is required.

Exceptional numerical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to make educated decisions.

Self-starter with a mature and responsible attitude and an ability to use own initiative.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
