Registered Nurse

Care Network Ireland are seeking a Registered Nurse for a facility based in Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow,

Caring services include both long term and short term care within the Care Unit and the main house based on different levels of dependency. The new nurses will be part of the evolving operational team with the goal of providing evidence-based care within an expanding service.

This unit offers a friendly and relaxed environment for residents and staff, all of whom are highly valued and respected. Caring services include both long term and respite care within the Care Unit. Recent developments include an evolving social care service for independent living for the greater retired Society Membership.

This is a full time permanent position.

Terms and Conditions of Employment - Pay

• A staff nurse working hours are 37.5 hours per week for a dayshift. Day Shift is 12.5 hour per day
• When rostered to work night shift it is 36 hours per week. Night Shift is 12 hours per day.
• Requirement for staff nurses / HCA's to rotate from days to night. This rotation happens every 4 weeks.
• Staff can request extra shifts.
• Premium Pay is provided as follows :
• Sunday working : time and 1 / 3
• Night time working :  6% of hourly rate of pay
• Bank Holiday :  Double Time - if rostered to work Christmas Eve / Good Friday these are paid at double time.
