Amicus has been engaged by a leading international firm of accountants, tax advisors, and consultants to assist in recruiting an Assistant Tax Manager for their corporate tax group.

The role involves managing a portfolio of clients across various sectors, many with an international focus.

It combines tax advisory and compliance responsibilities.

The Role :

Maintain and develop relationships with clients, coordinating services with other departments.

Ensure timely payment and return filings for corporate tax clients.

Collaborate with Partners on advising clients on business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation.

Act as a key member of an integrated client service team on various assignments, including tax advisory projects.

Contribute to departmental targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals.

Participate in business development and marketing initiatives.

Manage staff development and review procedures.

The Person :

Qualified accountant (AITI or equivalent).

Experience in corporate tax compliance and consultancy assignments.

Deep knowledge of Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, case law, and tax due diligence.

Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.

Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
