Teamworx is delighted to be recruiting for a Big Box retailer located north of Cork City.

Our client operates 33 retail stores across Munster, including counties Limerick, Cork, Tipperary, and Clare.

The Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance of the store.

The successful candidate will lead a customer-focused team to deliver excellent service and support the business and its stakeholders.

Requirements for this Store Manager Role

Strong product knowledge and proven track record in the sale of Agriculture, DIY, or Hardware products

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage employees

Strong business acumen, customer focus, and commercial awareness

Ability to analyze sales performance against targets

Skills to deliver cost-effective service and maximize sales

Organizational, planning, and time-management skills

Self-motivated, flexible, and a team player

Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety – ensure safety procedures are understood and followed by all staff

People Management & Development – lead and develop your team in line with company values

Sales – achieve and exceed store targets and KPIs

Customer Care – uphold excellence in customer experience

Administration – manage cash, wages, budgets, and systems
