Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled HGV / Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on light commercial vehicles / HGV, completing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are safe and adhere to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Diagnostics & Repair :  Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues and complete necessary repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Maintenance :  Perform routine maintenance on light commercial vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Vehicle Inspections :  Conduct thorough inspections to determine the condition of different parts, from engines to exhaust systems.
• Regulatory Compliance :  Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work meet or exceed regulatory standards.
• Documentation :  Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Customer Service :  Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and potential repairs.
• Continuous Learning :  Stay updated with the latest industry trends, vehicle technologies, and best practices.
• Shop Maintenance :  Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean and in optimal working condition.
• Teamwork :  Collaborate with team members and assist other mechanics as needed.
