Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Security Project Coordinator to join the Physical Security Systems team. This role will be crucial in managing and supporting various projects designed to enhance our client's physical security infrastructure. They will work closely with technical teams, stakeholders and senior management to ensure the successful implementation of security solutions.

About the Role

This role is Monday to Friday, predominantly office hours, though you will be working across different time zones so flexibility of hours is required.

It is a hybrid role with work from home 75% of the time, and regular attendance in the Dublin office, as well as travel in EMEA and APAC a few times a quarter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination : plan, execute, and finalise security projects in accordance with strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Management : act as the point of contact for various stakeholders, providing timely updates and gathering requirements.
  • Resource Management : identify and manage resources required to complete projects, ensuring effective utilisation of team members.
  • Documentation : maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, project reports, ans charge logs.
  • Process Improvement : suggest and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
  • Vendor management : work with external vendors to ensure that project requirements are fully delivered, and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • Experience : 1-3 (IC3) or 3-5 (IC4) experience in project management, preferably in physical security systems or a related field.
  • Technical Skills : strong understanding of physical security technologies and best practices.
  • Project Management Skills : proficient in project management tools (e.g. Jira or Trello) and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
  • Communication : excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solver : ability to identify issues proactively and provide solutions.
  • Team Player : ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred Qualities

  • Genetec Synergis / Omnicast certification.
  • Technical background with knowledge of security systems engineering.
  • Strong understanding or construction or real estate processes.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, global organisation.
