Join us as a Data Architect

This role that will be part of the 3Data team in Threes IT &Networks department.

The role holder will take ownership of Threes data architecture framework.

This will include managing data through the relevantmodels, data standards and ontologies and the alignment to the delivery of dataquality, data improvement and data governance initiatives.

The EDA will managethe definition and implementation of an enterprise data model (EDM) thatleverages the latest technologies to support system performance, scalability,security, and data analytics for Threes data.

What else it involves

Metadata and MDM (MasterData Management)

Assist in assessing theeffectiveness of existing technologies and processes in relation to thedata architecture

Create necessaryimplementation / migration plans, and recommend new solutions as requiredwith a focus on data monetisation, platforms, customer 360 view andanalytics strategy.

Define an operating model tomanage data across Three and establish processes around effective datamanagement ensuring Data Quality & Governance standards as well asroles for Data Stewards.

Align all data and analyticsinitiatives to meet enterprise aims.

Map entities to use casesand business requirements and assist in the development of data services.

Identify opportunities forutilizing data across regions

Design and implement anenterprise data model to manage large-volume transaction processing forThrees data

Define data ownership,standards, policies and associated processes

Deliver data lineage andauditing framework for the data platform

Manage performance andscalability design, measurement, and optimisation for the data platform

Establish architecturalframework for effective Data Governance across all business areas andtechnical implementations

Benchmark industry standardsand new technologies for data management and identify ways to implementthem in Threes domain

Demonstrate self-directedand proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources

The skills we're looking for

Extensive experience inmanaging telecoms data sets from architecture, data modelling to dataquality and governance.

Experience in the datamanagement, handling, organisation and use of structured and un-structureddata

Experience of deliveringenterprise level data management solutions.

Fluency architecting anddocumenting architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detailed) andacross multiple views (conceptual, strategic, physical, multidimensional,data flows etc.)

Ability to translatebusiness requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions

Familiar with top industry Architecture,Data modelling, BI, data warehouse, and reporting tools

Familiar with Agile-Scrum methodology and practices

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Ability to work from owninitiative, establishing strategic aims, project plans and milestone goals

Educational Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree(preferably Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics)

Minimum 5 years industryexperience as a Data Architect
