We are hiring Basic  Grade Medical Scientist - Histology  into a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing protocols for all areas of the laboratory and its testing equipment.
• Assist in applying and implementing operational procedures that meet "best practice" standards in order to improve resource utilisation.
• Assist in implementing a patient-centered quality management program that measures and audits performance and client satisfaction.
• Perform scientific work in accordance with the relevant INAB and JCI accreditation standards, as defined by the Senior Medical Scientist and Laboratory Manager.
• Prioritise and organise work during peak hours, and coordinate several concurrent tests.
• Cooperate with relevant staff on innovative ideas and technology in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate as needed in the registration and custody of Laboratory stocks in compliance with policies.

Minimum of 1 year in service training across all disciplines. Experience in Histology essential. Experience in Cut Up would be advantageous
