Position : Housing Officer Location : Kilkenny Contract : Fixed Term Full Time Salary : €32-35k DOE. Role Overview The Housing Officer will be responsible for the sourcing, maintenance, and allocation of housing and commercial properties, as well as the management of related utilities. This role requires experience in interpreting and managing lease agreements within the Republic of Ireland, along with the ability to ensure resources are used effectively and in line with company policies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Source suitable housing and commercial properties to meet organisational requirements. Review, approve, and ensure compliance with lease agreements. Allocate resources in line with company policies and guidelines. Manage databases, input data, and collate property and utility records. Oversee utility connections, disconnections, bill management, and reporting. Coordinate maintenance of all housing, liaising with external providers as required. Monitor and report on utility usage. Conduct property inspections and respond to reported issues. Prepare reports, communications, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders. Provide additional administrative support and contribute to ad hoc projects as required. Essential Skills & Knowledge Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (e.g., Estate Agent or Housing Officer). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills. Full driving licence.
