Technical Sales Executive
Overview
An established and innovative manufacturing business with over four decades of industry expertise is seeking a Business Development Executive to help turn strategic ambitions into measurable results. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role blends commercial growth, client relationship management, and hands-on project delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue, build long-term partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
The Role This is a dual-focus position, combining business development with project management. You’ll lead strategic sales initiatives, manage key accounts, and oversee project lifecycles — from concept through to completion — ensuring client satisfaction every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Shape and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth goalsIdentify, target, and convert new business opportunitiesBuild and nurture strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry stakeholdersSpot opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise client valueManage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term retention and satisfactionMaintain an accurate sales pipeline through CRM systems and planning boardsMonitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategyCollaborate with marketing to generate leads and raise brand visibilityProject Management
Lead client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budgetAct as the primary client contact, managing expectations and resolving challenges proactivelyCoordinate with internal teams — operations, procurement, finance — to align execution with business objectivesDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocationIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategiesAbout You
Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Project Management, or related discipline2+ years in business development, sales, or project management, ideally in a manufacturing or B2B environmentProven record of hitting sales targets and delivering successful projectsStrong communicator with excellent relationship-building skillsSkilled in CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana, Trello)Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey Competencies
