Senior Estimator - Structural Steel Location : Longford, Ireland FRS Recruitment are working alongside a Structural Steel company who is a leading provider of structural steel solutions in Ireland.

The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team in Longford.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for producing accurate estimates that support the continued growth of the business and bring strong industry knowledge and leadership skills to our well-established estimating team.

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel projects.

Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to determine scope.

Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.

Prepare tender submissions, cost reports, and bid clarifications.

Support smooth project handover to contracts and project management teams.

Candidate Profile At least 5 year's estimating experience in structural steel (Ireland).

Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Desirable Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering.

Experience on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructural projects.

Familiarity with BIM and digital estimating tools.
